A Full Sports Schedule in Australia Has Left the Nitro Athletics Series Looking for New Dates

Australia's Nitro Athletics Series is looking for new dates for its meets in 2018, according to SBS.

The series, in which Usain Bolt is a stakeholder, is facing a full calendar of events in Australia next year with the Gold Coast set to host the Commonwealth Games in April.

The series took place in early February this year, but next year a similar time schedule would put the second-year event up against the Winter Olympics, among other sporting events.

Currently, Nitro Athletics organizers are looking to hold meets after the Commonwealth Games, but no dates have been set.
